Ballyskenagh 2-7 ...... Killavilla 3-8

A very slow start saw Skenagh in arrears of 1-4 to no score after 17 minutes. A David Carney goal from a penalty in the 24th minute was to be Skenagh's only score of the first half, to put the the score at 1-4 to 1-0 at the break.

Killavilla opened the scores in the second half before Derek Middleton and David Carney (from a free) brought the gap back to three at 1-5 to 1-6. Killavilla scored their seventh point in the 10th minute before David Carney put over a brace of points (one from a free) to bring the gap back to three again. A Killavilla goal in the 16th minute put six between the sides. David Carney pointed again from a free and in the 20th minute a move up the field saw Cathal Murphy put one past the Killavilla goalie to bring the margin back to just two at 2-7 to 2-5. Killavilla's third goal in the 24th minute was soon followed by a point to put five between the sides. An Olly Ryan point in injury time was Skenagh's last score to leave the final score at 3-8 to 2-7.
