Ballyskenagh 2-11....... Belmont 0-12
Ballyskenagh made it two wins out of two with a 2-11 to 0-12 victory over Belmont in Ballyskenagh on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May.
A Tadhg Maher goal in the 11th minute gave Skenagh a 1-4 t 0-3 advantage and at half time the margin remained four points at 1-7 to 0-6.
Mid way through the second half, Anthony Middleton found the back of the net and widened the margin to 7 points at 2-10 to 0-9. Middleton added another point soon after and this was to be Skenagh's last score. Belmont piled on the pressure and scored three points without reply to leave the margin at 5 points with 8 minutes remaining. However neither side increased their total in the closing minutes and the final score remained 2-11 to 0-12 in favour of Ballyskenagh.
