2006 Div 2 (Senior) League Round 4

Ballyskenagh 4-7 ....... Lusmagh 1-11

Ballyskenagh's good run in the Division 2 league continued with a hard earned win over Lusmagh in Ballyskenagh on Saturday 13th of May.

Lusmagh opened the scoring with a point in the first minute, but a David Carney goal in the 5th minute gave Skenagh a lead that they were to hold for the remainder of the game. A second David Carney goal in the 25th minute put the score at 2-2 to 0-4 and he completed a hat trick in the 27th minute to leave the half time score 3-2 to 0-4.

A Lusmagh goal mid way through the second half put the gap at four points 3-4 to 1-6 and they piled on the pressure for the remaining quarter, bringing the gap back to just two with a 19th minute free. There were just two points in it when a Morgan Lalor goal right on full time sealed the win for Skenagh at 4-7 to 1-11.
