Ballyskenagh's hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the junior b championship came to an end when they suffered a heavy and disappointing defeat at the hands of Kinnitty, who dominated throughout. The loss of Joey Murphy due to injury early in the game was a big blow to an already depleted Skenagh side. Kinnitty held a 3-1 to 0-5 lead at half time and never looked like losing their grip on the game.
