Ballyskenagh 2-15 ....... Kinnitty 1-9
Ballyskenagh added another two points to their league total at the expense of Kinnitty in a home tie on the 14th of April. 'Skenagh were ahead by 0-8 to 0-4 at half time and with the rain coming down in the second half, they held a five point lead at the mid-way point, 0-12 to 0-7. A Kinnitty goal increased the pressure for a time, but two quick goals, courtesy of Derek Middleton who lobbed the keeper from a long way out, and Paddy Higgins, put 'Skenagh firmly back into the driving seat with about five minutes remaining on the clock. Final score 2-15 to 1-9.
