Ballyskenagh 2-7 ……. Shinrone 0-13
Ballyskenagh and Shinrone played out a draw in a lively encounter in Ballyskenagh on Sunday 18th April. It was nip and tuck in the low-scoring the first half, with the sides level at half time, Shinrone 0-5 to Ballyskenagh’s 1-2, two of ‘Skenagh’s three scores coming from placed balls.
The second half continued in a similar vein, with sides level on no fewer than five occasions. With two minutes remaining on the clock, Shinrone were two points up and looked like they might just shade it, but two points from Aidan Franks drew the sides level for the final time, final score 0-13 to 2-7.
