Drumcullen 1-10 ...... Ballyskenach 2-7
In their opening game of the 2003 Division 1 League, Ballyskenach secured a draw against Drumcullen in Rath on Saturday 15th March. Drumcullen were ahead by 1-1 to no score after five minutes, but a David Carney blitz from the sixth to the sixteenth minute saw him put 'Skenagh ahead by 2-2 to 1-1. Drumcullen added five more points before the break to lead by 1-6 to 2-2.
There was nothing between the two sides in the second half and they were level on no less than five occasions, including the final whistle when the scoreline read 2-7 to 1-10.
