Round 1

Ballyskenagh 3-12 ...... Killeigh 2-10

Ballyskenagh got off to a winning start in the Division 4 league when they defeated Killeigh at home on Sunday 16th March. Just one point separated the sides at half time, with 'Skenagh having the advantage at 1-6 to 1-5. Four minutes after the restart, a second Killeigh goal saw the sides level at 1-8 to 2-5. Points from David Carney and Tom O'Toole followed by a Morgan Lalor goal, saw 'Skenagh open up a five point lead, but three Killeigh points brought the margin back to just two, with ten minutes remaining. A Derek Middleton goal in the 24th minute put 'Skenagh back in the driving seat at 3-10 to 2-9 and the final score was 3-12 to 2-10, Killeigh's last point coming just at full time.

Ballyskenagh 0-7 ...... Lusmagh 3-7

Ballyskenagh travelled to Lusmagh to take on the home side in Round 2 of the Division 4 league and lost out on a disappointing scoreline of 3-7 to 0-7, with Lusmagh having led by 2-4 to 0-5 at half time.

Round 3

Ballyskenagh 2-8 ...... Killavilla 5-9

Ballyskenagh went down heavily to neighbours Killavilla in atrocious conditions in Killavilla on Thursday 15th May. Killavilla were ahead by 3-7 to 1-5 at half time and continued to dominate the second half to run out comfortable winners on a 5-9 to 2-8 scoreline.

Round 4

Ballyskenagh 1-10 ...... Belmont 0-11

Ballyskenagh earned a two point victory at home to Belmont, having led by 1-6 to 0-3 at half time. Midway through the half, a Bill Lalor point had 'Skenach in front by 1-10 to 0-7, but this was to be their last score of the half, while Belmont went on to add four points to leave the final score at 1-10 to 0-11.

Round 5

Ballyskenach 2-11 ...... Brosna Gaels 1-8

Ballyskenach emerged winners by a margin of two points in this hard fought encounter in Ballycumber on Tuesday 3rd June. 'Skenach led by 1-6 to 1-3 at the break and while Brosna Gaels battled hard in the second half, 'Skenach went on to win by 2-11 to 1-8.

Round 6

Ballyskenach 6-26 ...... Raheen 0-4

Ballyskenach were far too strong for Raheen in this game, played in 'Skenach on Monday 30th June. Credit is due to Raheen who battled on despite the wide margin and while 'Skenach were undoubtedly far stronger, the scoreline perhaps does not fairly reflect the spirited effort from the Raheen side.
