Semi Final
This was a good win in the team's first game together played at a wind swept Rath venue on Sunday last. Playing with the wind in the first half Ballyskenach led at half time by 2-4 to 0-2 the goals coming from John Dooley and Ger Mullally.
Two early second half points seemed to put the team in a strong position, but back came Clara with an unanswered 2-2 to ensure a close finish.
Hopefully now this game will have brought home the need to get down to serious training. The intermediate championship will start in April and a big effort will be required if the side hope to make any progress.
