Ballyskenach GAA AGM

The A.G.M. of Ballyskenach GAA was held in Citeaux Hall on Monday, 30th December. 1991 was a successful year for the Club and in his report the Secretary congratulated the Minor team who won the "A" Championship for the first time. The two Junior" A' , and "C" teams also did very well, being beaten in the semi-final and final respectively.

The Secretary expressed sympathy to the families of all those who had died during the year - Nancy England, Kathleen Russell, Jimmy Hogan, Paddy Franks and paid particular tribute to Joe Dooley, President of the Club, who died in November.

Membership remains the same as last year, i.e. £5 for adults and £2 for under age. Closing date for membership, which should be paid to Monty Franks, is strictly the 1st of February.
