Last year in the Offaly Senior Hurling Semi-Final, Ballyskenach, in their first year in senior ranks, put up a brave show bfore going under to Drumcullen. On Sunday next at the same venue (St. Brendan's Park, Birr), the teams will meet again for the right to play champions Coolderry in the final.
Ballyskenach, with an extra year of the big time stuff to help them, are approaching Sunday's game with a good deal of confidence and indeed, rightly so. With good victories over Shinrone and Birr to their credit, they merit the height of respect and can be expected to give the Drumcullen men a tough hour.
